Hey, I’m Jamon McCoy, but most people know me as J. McCoy—the self-taught creative behind The J.McCoy Experience. I’m originally from Alabama, now calling Riverside, CA.
I don’t see myself as just a photographer or videographer—I consider myself a Visual Storyteller. My passion is capturing couples in their most natural, unfiltered moments—showcasing love, connection, and emotion in a way that feels real and honest. Every story is different, and I approach each one with the intention of creating something unique and timeless.
My mission is to give every client the absolute best of what I have to offer—not just through the images or videos I create, but through the experience I provide. I work hard to bring your vision to life, and I make it my priority to keep you comfortable, confident, and completely worry-free from start to finish. This is more than just a job for me—it’s about building relationships and capturing moments that last a lifetime.
Photography and videography found me at a time when I was simply looking for a way to express myself—and I haven’t looked back since. Every shoot is a chance for me to connect with people on a deeper level, to witness their stories up close, and to turn fleeting moments into lasting memories. I’m all about the little things: the way someone laughs when no one’s looking, the quiet glance between a couple, or the joy in a parent’s face watching their kids just be kids. That’s the stuff that matters, and that’s what I live to capture.
Outside of the camera, I’m just a laid-back, people-first kind of guy. I love building genuine connections with my clients—many of whom become friends, and even feel like family. For me, it’s not just about showing up, getting the shot, and leaving.
